My first Thanksgiving

For my first Thanksgiving we went to my Aunt Katie's house. This is me with my Grandma and My favorite Aunt Julie.

The beginning of November my Grandma came from Wisconsin and my Uncle Mike came from North Carolina to meet me. We had a lot of fun while they were here and they both spoiled me. My mom was very happy to see her family.

My Mom says that I am the greatest birthday present she has ever got. This is me on my Mom's 29th birthday, I am 20 days old.

"She's so alert"

people always say that i am so alert here is proof that i have always been that way. i am only a few hours old in this picture.

Meeting my brother

slade's mom dropped him off at the hospital, when he first got there he didn't even notice that i was there, he was more interested in showing off for sam, adrianne, and dakota. my mom and dad had been telling him that they were going to go to the hospital and the doctor was going to help mommy get me out of her belly. when he finally noticed me he was a little nervous but courious. then my dad sat us down and introduced us. slade and i have been buds ever since. i am lucky to have such a great big brother.

Welcome to the world

my mom was in labor with me for 19 hours. after a long night and a long morning i was finally born at 12:40 in the afternoon on friday, october 3, 2008. my mom had waited almost 29 years for me to come and she tells me it was the happiest day of her life. right after i was born they laid me on my mommy's chest, i only let out one little cry and then quietly looked at my mommy. my mom says when she looked into my eyes it seemed like she had known me forever. like there was no one else in this world that knew her as well as i did.

if you ask my daddy he will deny it but he had a very hard time holding back the tears. he just kept saying "she's beautiful" and snapping pictures. i had him wrapped around my little finger from the start. after the nurses took me to check me out daddy ran back and forth taking pictures of me, showing them to mommy and then showing them to grandma linda who was waiting in the hallway.

this is my mom and dad about two weeks before i was born. look how excited daddy was for me to come.
